The 12th World Conference of Chemical Engineering (WCCE12) and the 21st Asia Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering Congress (APCChE 2025), which was a historical event in the global chemical engineering field, was recently held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing.
At the same period the 2025 International Chemical Innovation Exposition took place as a key supporting event.
Through the conference and the supporting event, DODGEN gave an introduction of its systematic technologies and advanced engineering equipment to the world on this significant stage for global academic exchange and industry-academia collaboration.
Media Interview
“The major idea of this congress — embracing the global challenge of paradigm reforms in chemical engineering — relates closely with us. For facing a series of challenges, including climate change and energy shortages, huge transformations would take place in a number of new fields. DODGEN can provide a range of industrialized technologies and equipment for biodegradable plastics, bio-based materials, and electronic chemicals for these fields.”
— Tang Xi, Chairman of Shanghai DODGEN Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., in an interview with China Chemical Industry News.
Technology Showcase
DODGEN’s Swirling Falling-Film Crystallizer was given the honor with the Outstanding Technology Achievement Award at the 2025 International Chemical Innovation Expo’s New Product & Technology Launch.
Separation takes 80% the part of energy consumption structure during chemical engineering process. We meet the hard problems of high energy consumption and technical complexity, which exist especially in the purification of high-purity chemicals for electronics and new-material products. DODGEN’s Swirling Falling-Film Crystallizer has been used as a breakthrough to the bottleneck, which gets the production of high-purity compounds by using reduced energy.
“We integrate distillation with melt crystallization, leveraging solid-liquid phase equilibrium and efficient thermal energy utilization to achieve high-efficiency separation and purification of mixtures, while significantly reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions.”
——said DODGEN’s R&D lead at the press conference.

Product Recognition
DODGEN’s Swirling Falling-Film Crystallizer has broken foreign monopolies on technology and filled the blank in the domestic field of falling-film melt crystallization. When technical barriers in the purification of high-purity chemical materials were overcame, contributions are made to the sustainable development of industries like semiconductors, new energy, aerospace, etc.
This technology has won numerous accolades as a new product of low-carbon, ultra-pure separation innovation:
2022: Recognized as a High-Tech Achievement Transformation Project
2023: Selected as a “Shanghai Key Standardization Pilot Project”
2024: Named one of the “Top 100 High-Tech Achievements in Shanghai”
2024: Won the “Outstanding Product Award” at the China International Industry Fair
2024: Designated as a Patent-Intensive Product
2025: Listed in the “Advanced Technologies, Processes, and Equipment Directory” by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF)
Closing Remarks
Through this conference and exhibition, DODGEN connected technical partner such as institutes and first rank universities to overcome tough problems in reaction and separation, and at the same time associated applications to get the knowledge of clients’ needs and pain points, and the market colleagues as well, to share information and cooperate.
In the future, DODGEN will embrace the global challenge of paradigm shift with the industry in chemical engineering, and make efforts for a better world.
