DODGEN with the rich engineering experience has developed process with higher efficiency and simpler process in view of the defects of the original process technology in separating carbon disulfide and hydrogen sulfide, sulfur and hydrogen sulfide are separated simultaneously.

The process of extracting excess sulfur at high temperature is adopted to control the content of carbon disulfide in the recovered sulfur effectively, it resolves the following process problems as to entrainment of carbon disulfide in sulfur, safety hazards and loss of product.

DODGEN’s Carbon Disulfide (CS2) Technology represents the state-of-the-art in natural gas-based CS2 production.

1 Double alkali desulphurization technology, high efficiency and low-cost operation;

2 Thermal coupling technology with high-efficiency heat exchange technology consumes less energy than traditional separation process, saves energy greatly, and achieves higher efficiency in recycling;

3 The content of carbon disulfide in the recovered liquid sulfur is reduced and the loss of raw materials is reduced in efficient gas-liquid separation and single tower separation technology;

4 The number of equipment is less than the traditional separation process, the investment is lower and the space occupied is smaller;

5 By-product hydrogen sulfide has high purity (more than 99%).
