At the 2025 CHINAPLAS exhibition, DODGEN will focus on showcasing its technological innovations and solutions throughout the plastic lifecycle, particularly key breakthroughs in polymer manufacturing and monomer purification. DODGEN’s DSXL Devolatilization Technology rapidly heats polymers using highly efficient heat exchangers or adds additives to promote the escape of volatiles. It also ensures uniform dispersion of the polymer within the devolatilizer, increasing the surface area and reducing mass transfer resistance. This process effectively removes unreacted monomers, oligomers, solvents, and other small molecular impurities from the polymer, achieving high-efficiency devolatilization. Based on the polymer characteristics, DODGEN designs single or multi-stage devolatilization processes, combining mixing elements, heat exchangers, and high-efficiency distributors to ensure product quality while reducing operating costs.
The DSR Polymerization Reactor is a continuous polymerization device that combines static mixing with efficient heat transfer. It can handle fluids with a wide viscosity range, operates with low pressure drop, and requires no stirring. The reactor precisely controls concentration and temperature gradients, minimizing side reactions and producing high-quality polymers with a narrow molecular weight distribution. Additionally, it offers low energy consumption, reduced maintenance and operational costs, and eliminates stagnant flow and dead zones. With independent temperature control, it meets the requirements of different product grades.
Melt crystallization technology is an iteration of traditional distillation technology and can be coupled with other separation equipment to enhance product purity. It can effectively separate isomers and chiral substances that are difficult to separate via distillation. Through a multi-stage recrystallization process, it easily produces high-purity products (99.99% purity or higher) from low-eutectic mixtures with low energy consumption. This technology provides a reliable source of high-purity monomers for the production of high-quality recycled plastics.
