Leading Rare Earth Catalytic Hydrolysis of Aminonitrile Technology:Low Investment and Operation Costs, No By-products of Sodium Sulfate or Potassium Sulfate.
Technical Introduction
DODGEN has independently engineered a cutting-edge methionine production process based on rare earth catalytic hydrolysis of aminonitrile. This route is positioned as the most promising, sustainable, and cost-effective method for future production. Starting with cyanoalcohols, the process involves amination to synthesize aminonitrile, followed by hydrolysis using rare earth catalysts to yield DL-methionine.
This process is different from the traditional Hydantoin method route, featuring mild reaction conditions and high atomic utilization rate. It has completely eliminated by-product salts such as sodium sulfate and potassium, realized the recycling of by-product ammonia water, significantly reduced the discharge of three wastes, and has greatly lowerd the comprehensive energy consumption and raw material costs.
DODGEN integrates its proprietary wide-channel microreactors and advanced tower separation technology at the front end, ensuring highly efficient conversion from cyanoalcohols to methionine.
