Mr. Tang Xi kindly introduced the situation of DODGEN Company to the Consul General, emphasizing the outstanding features of DODGEN as a professional technology company, which has several small and pilot laboratories in Shanghai, Chongqing and Ningxia, dedicated to developing advanced technologies to solve the plastic pollution problem.
DODGEN is the director unit of the Shanghai New Materials Association's Special Committee on Biodegradable and Recycling, which brings together top companies in China to solve the problem of white pollution. Uruguay is rich in biomass resources, and under the premise of global energy saving and carbon reduction and environmental pollution control, it has great significance to cooperate with Chinese enterprises to develop bio-based degradable plastics.
The year 2023 marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uruguay and China and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Consulate General of Uruguay in Shanghai.
