Vinylene Carbonate (VC) Technology Introduction

CEC Synthesis: EC reacts with chlorine in a photolysis tower under UV catalysis, followed by neutralization with liquid alkali. Residual chlorine and HCl are stripped using nitrogen, with off-gas sent to an HCl absorption tower.

VC Synthesis: Using DMC as a solvent and triethylamine as a catalyst, the reaction eliminates hydrogen chloride. After centrifugal filtration removes solid salts, the filtrate passes through desolvation, crude distillation, rectification, and crystallization units to yield qualified product.
