Recently, the 2024 China Petroleum and Chemical International Conference (CPCIC) grandly opened in Yantai. The event, co-hosted by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Yantai Municipal People's Government, attracted numerous leading companies, experts, and scholars from the petrochemical and chemical industries, both domestically and internationally. Participants included industry giants such as China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petrochemical Corporation, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, as well as international professional organizations like the International Council of Chemical Associations, the American Chemistry Council, and the Korea Petrochemical Industry Association. With the theme "Forging New Competitiveness in Times of Great Change," the conference featured plenary sessions and multiple parallel forums, discussing the opportunities and challenges facing the industry under new global circumstances.
As a technological innovation company in China’s petrochemical sector, DODGEN delivered keynote speeches at the Development Strategies for Investment and Mergers & Acquisitions Forum and the Green Petrochemical and New Materials Development Conference. Chairman Mr. Tang Xi and General Manager Mr. Kang Xiaoling introduced DODGEN's leading technological capabilities in modular pilot plants and new material monomer process technology. They also discussed the innovative value of DODGEN’s green new material technology in advancing the green development of the petrochemical industry and fostering new productive capacities.
Mr. Tang Xi highlighted the pivotal role played by DODGEN's Ningxia pilot test base in green new material development. He emphasized that pilot testing helps reduce R&D costs and improves the conversion rate of technological achievements, laying the foundation for the industrialization of new technologies.
“DODGEN's Ningxia pilot test base employs a modular design concept. The modular pilot plants can be freely configured according to different process requirements. Its flexibility and efficiency allow for quick adjustments to experimental conditions based on varying R&D needs, simulating complex conditions in commercial production, and verifying the stability and operability of processes. This provides reliable technical support for the industrialization of new materials,” said Mr. Tang.
Mr. Kang Xiaoling introduced DODGEN's sustainable development solutions for green chemical new materials. He analyzed the future development of cutting-edge new material technologies from the perspectives of raw materials, process routes, and application fields.
"DODGEN aims to provide the industry with more environmentally friendly and efficient solutions, promoting the sustainable development of the petrochemical industry. We offer our customers high-value-added technologies such as the polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) series, lactide copolyester series, multi-component elastic copolyester series, isosorbide-based IPEF series, and bio-based PMMA. We provide full-chain services, from lab-scale R&D to industrial design, and have achieved successful pilot testing and commercialization, receiving positive feedback from clients,” said Mr. Kang.
DODGEN also set up a booth at the exhibition held from September 13 to 14, becoming a hub for industry professionals. The booth showcased several core products to the audience.
Attendees showed strong interest in DODGEN's technologies and services, engaging in discussions with the DODGEN team to gain deeper insights into the potential applications of these technologies and exploring future collaboration opportunities.
The 2024 China Petroleum and Chemical International Conference concluded successfully, and DODGEN will continue to provide more innovative solutions to global petrochemical industry clients, driving the industry's green and low-carbon transition and fostering high-quality development.
